Fort Worth has taken off like a rocket in population growth (it had the largest numeric population gain of any city in America in 2022). Now there’s speculation that real-life rockets could be launched into space from near the Panther City, according to a 2025 Tarrant County Commercial Real Estate Forecast discussion between Corriente Advisors CEO Mark Hart and Robert Allen, president and CEO of the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership.
According to Fort Worth Report, Hart pointed out the growing popularity of reusable rockets, saying, ““I think [a] smaller [space] launch is actually a possibility west of Fort Worth, where you can launch from just inland.”
Texas companies can launch even more endeavors once those rockets reach space, he added, by manufacturing products in zero gravity far above earth.
From office buildings to industrial to multifamily and construction, Fort Worth is poised for continued growth. But keep your eyes on the skies—because when it comes to space-related companies, “that’s No. 1 on your list,” Hart said, according to Fort Worth Report.
