The Last Word: Dallas AI Experts Author New Executive Prompting Guide

Most people are getting AI all wrong—asking random questions and getting mediocre results, say Babar Bhatti and Masood Khan. Their new guide shows how to prompt like a pro and turn AI into your strategic team.

“Prompting is the heart of modern AI system design.”

Babar Bhatti and Masood Khan recently introduced their new book, “Beginner to Executive Prompting Guide,” during a kickoff of the Dallas AI Summer Program at Southern Methodist University. The book takes on a familiar challenge: while AI tools are everywhere, most people are getting mediocre results.

“The difference between AI giving you generic responses and genius-level insights isn’t the technology—it’s how you talk to it,” the authors write in their Amazon description. “This is prompt engineering. And it’s about to become as essential as email.”

Bhatti, co-founder of the nonprofit Dallas AI, brings years of hands-on experience in helping professionals adopt AI effectively. Khan, who has a background in global supply chain and business leadership, adds expertise in sustainability and AI strategy. Together, they describe the book as a “battle-tested playbook from the trenches.”

The book offers practical frameworks that turn AI into strategic advisors, creative directors, and data analysts, with role-specific templates for marketing, finance, HR, operations, and leadership.

Their premise: while competitors fumble with random questions and get random results, smart professionals use proven techniques to make AI work like their personal team of experts.

The authors point to real-world outcomes from these methods—consulting firms slashing proposal-writing time by 80%, startup founders generating a year’s worth of marketing content in a weekend, and executives revamping quarterly planning sessions.

The “Beginner to Executive Prompting Guide” is available now on Amazon.
