Sarah White is taking on an expanded leadership role at TechFW, the nonprofit powerhouse fueling Fort Worth’s startup ecosystem. The organization has promoted White to director of operations and strategic partnerships, tasking her with propelling its entrepreneurial engine forward.

White sees it as a “unique and privileged opportunity” to initiate new partnerships and build on existing ones while uncovering resources for TechFW’s entrepreneurial community. “I’m eager to continue empowering our organization’s strategic growth while helping to foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and innovation,” she said in a statement.

White joined TechFW in July 2021, transitioning from a career as a high school teacher to the world of tech startups.

Since then, she’s made her mark by connecting dozens of university students to startup internships. White has coordinated with hundreds of founders nationwide, collaborated with angel investor group Cowtown Angels, and spearheaded events that bring the entrepreneurial ecosystem together, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit said.

Now, she’ll optimize operations alongside TechFW’s team while spearheading development initiatives and deepening community engagement to amplify the nonprofit’s impact.

Since its 1998 founding, TechFW has nurtured over 200 companies from innovative spark to scalable business without taking equity. The startup accelerator and incubator says its comprehensive resources, mentorship, and community support nurture entrepreneurs at every stage on their journeys to bolster economic growth across North Texas.

Whether working with idea-stage founders, companies charting paths to market, high-growth startups, or those seeking early funding, TechFW tailors programs spanning idea validation, market strategies, acceleration, and funding tactics across industries.
