Tech Titans Awards Gala Roars Into the ’20s With a Jazz-Age 2.0 Theme

The virtual event will be a live, cinematic experience with a "Speakeasy Party To Go" feature for home watch parties. Sounds like the berries to us.

Nominations are open for Tech Titans' 2020 awards through August 24.

This year, Tech Titans, the largest technology trade association in the Lonestar state, will recognize outstanding tech companies and individuals in North Texas in a virtual event that aims to be the bee’s knees.

The theme for the group’s annual event is the Roaring Twenties. (2.0, of course.)

The awards will be broadcast in a  live, cinematic experience that will be available worldwide via a partnership with MarketScale through Nokia, according to Tech Titans President and CEO Bill Sproull.

Hoping to have a live event, the organization postponed its earlier Gala date to the fall, but “decided to go virtual for the safety of all,” said Sproull. Now the group is pulling out the stops to make the event “the berries.”

Speakeasy Party To Go

“We’re encouraging our viewers to host ‘watch parties’ safely in their own homes or offices,” he said. “Part of the experience will build on our Roaring ’20s 2.0 theme by making available ‘speakeasy party to go’ packages where our audience can make their own themed cocktails at home to enjoy during the Gala.”

The awards will spotlight emerging startups to Fortune 500 companies in 10 tech and innovation categories. Nominations for the 2020 Tech Titans awards are open through August 24. Winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony on Friday, October 23.
