TAS Environment Services Acquires Delmar Disposal

The city of Dallas recently recognized Delmar as a Blue Thumb Award recipient for its work in improving water quality in the Trinity River.

Fort Worth-based environmental services provider TAS Environment Services LP has acquired Delmar Disposal Co., a Dallas-based industrial waste services provider.

TAS is a portfolio company of TEAM Partners LLC, a Dallas private equity firm. Delmar is the second add-on acquisition by TAS this year. In May, it incorporated Water Kleen Services into its portfolio.

“This transaction strengthens our industrial services offering and adds an in-demand, internal recycling asset for TAS,” said Ed Genovese, TAS president and CEO. “We have tremendous respect for the operation that Delmar has built over the last 30 years and are honored to work with Delmar’s customers and employees going forward.”

No financial terms were released.

“TAS is a natural home for Delmar as they adhere to our same philosophy of providing exceptional customer service and treating employees well,” Delmar owner Buddy Ham said

TAS offers a range of environmental services including industrial, emergency response, remediation, transportation, pipeline, and terminal services 

Found in 1988, Delmar Disposal offers environmental and industrial services including tank cleaning, water disposal, grease trap cleaning, and related services. It operates a wastewater treatment and recycling facility. The city of Dallas recently recognized Delmar as a Blue Thumb Award recipient for its work in improving water quality in the Trinity River.

With the addition of Delmar, TAS now manages Dallas-Fort Worth’s largest 24/7 industrial vacuum fleet with more than 25 local units, according to TAS.
