Federal Judge in Dallas Blocks FTC Non‑Compete Agreements Ban in Suit Filed by Dallas-Based Ryan

Dallas-based global tax services firm Ryan filed a lawsuit in April less than an hour after the FTC announced it was banning non-compete agreements nationwide. U.S. District Judge Ada Brown ruled Tuesday that the FTC had exceeded its authority in issuing the ban.
