Hugs Café Breaks Ground on $10M HQ and Training Center in North Texas

Hugs Café is a nonprofit dedicated to providing training and employment for adults with disabilities. Its new HQ in McKinney will include a training academy and training kitchen, four classrooms, a rooftop deck, and a patio.

Ability Connection, which celebrates its 70th anniversary milestone this year, serves more than 900 people across Texas, and relies on a one-person focus, where skilled staffers learn what priorities individuals and families need and want. The organization serves people with all types of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
