In yet another HQ move from California to North Texas, connectivity innovator Boingo Wireless has opened its new 15K-SF headquarters at The Star in Frisco. "Texas is a thriving tech hub," CEO Mike Finley said, "and we look forward to doing business here alongside our partners and customers.”

Six years after going big with the 10,000-square-foot "Taj Mahal of Tupelo" at The Star in Frisco, Tupelo Honey has opened its second Texas location in Las Colinas. The Irving spot's smaller, cozier setting could be a blueprint for the chain's further U.S. expansion. But diners are buzzing about the new culinary and cocktail creations from its R&D kitchen, like the Roast Beef Debris, Panko-Crusted Fried Green Tomatoes, and Peach-Don't-Kill-My-Vibe Sangria.

Comerica Bank Is Building a New Business and Innovation Hub at The Star in Frisco

The hub—slated to open in late 2023 or early 2024—will house around 300 employees and offer "cross-functional collaboration" opportunities. From a balcony with views to an innovation center and tech genius bar, Comerica says the Frisco hub will complement its downtown Dallas headquarters.
Extending Comerica's footprint to "one of the most desirable locations for business and innovation in the U.S." positions the bank for future success, says a Comerica EVP.

Toronto-based GameSquare Esports acquired Frisco's Complexity Gaming in June 2021. Since launching in 2003, Complexity has won over 140 esports championships in nearly 30 games, and is headquartered at The Star in Frisco.

Jordan Fisher has done everything from winning ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" to acting in "Hamilton" on Broadway to being a music artist to starring in movies like Netflix's "Work It."
Now he's going big with gaming. Fisher recently became part owner and content creator at Complexity Gaming, the esports organization headquartered at The Star in Frisco. As a part owner, he has good company: the Dallas Cowboys' Jerry Jones and investor John Goff are part owners, too.
