The Last Word: On Chipotle’s ‘Zipotle’ Drone Deliveries Near Dallas

Burrito bowls by drone? Oh, it's a thing—and it launched today in North Texas. California-based Chipotle has begun flying out its full-menu in a new drone delivery service called Zipotle, starting with a single Chipotle location at 3109 Lakeview Parkway in Rowlett, northeast of Dallas. Partnering with the drone company Zipline, Chipotle "Zip" drones will travel directly to customers' houses, delivering digital orders in just a few minutes of flying time.

Oxenfree at Princeton, east of McKinney, is just one of four new Core Spaces build-to-rent developments in progress across Dallas-Fort Worth, built on the principles of "new (sub)urbanism." Others are in Fort Worth, Rowlett, and Frisco. In Princeton, 408 single-family detached homes and townhomes feature private garages, yards, and outdoor patios.

Set to break ground in March northeast of Dallas, the Lakeview Business District is a development of Jackson-Shaw, a national real estate development company headquartered in North Texas. The 165-acre business park will be built in two phases, beginning with five modern "state-of-the-art" spaces that will total over a million square feet.
