The da Vinci 5 surgical system from Sunnyvale, California-based Intuitive Surgical can translate a surgeon's hand movements into smaller, more precise movements using tiny instruments, while its "immersive vision system" virtually extends the surgeon's eyes and hands throughout the minimally invasive surgery.
