The Austin-based accelerator and investor plans to launch its Center for Health Innovation at Pegasus Park in Dallas by end of 2023. Its goal: connecting startups locally and across the state with each other, as well as other corporate and research players in the space.

LaunchBio, a life science and biotech nonprofit that expanded to North Texas in 2021, has announced four new board members, including Dallas-based Kathleen Gibson, along with a new board chair.
LaunchBio is working to accelerate the entrepreneurial support network in the region through collaborations with BioLabs, Lyda Hill Philanthropies, J. Small Investments, BioNTX, DLA Piper, and others.

Dallas' status as a growing biotech center got a lift with the official opening of BioLabs, a new coworking space at the Biotech+ Hub at Pegasus Park. The 37,000-square-foot facility offers shared wet labs and office space for up to 35 life science startups.

Seed Accelerator Health Wildcatters Is Moving to Dallas’ Pegasus Park

The accelerator will move this summer from its downtown Dallas location to 6,000 square feet of collaborative and flexible office space in Pegasus Park's 18-story tower.
Just weeks ago, Pegasus Park landed one of its biggest tenants to date: UT Southwestern‘s Office for Technology Development and other UTSW entities will be leasing six floors in the tower.
