The New York Stock Exchange said that Bryan Daniel brings extensive experience in public policy, most recently serving as the chairman of the Texas Workforce Commission. The NYSE Texas HQ at Old Parkland is slated to open next year.

Southwestern Medical Foundation Announces New CEO

Michael McMahan follows Kathleen Gibson as CEO, who spent 10 years at the helm of the foundation. McMahan worked for more than a decade at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. As many remember lost loved ones and heroic acts by first responders and citizens on 9/11, Old Parkland in Uptown Dallas has erected a newly commissioned bronze statue in honor of the heroes on United Airlines Flight 93. The "Non Sibi" monument "will forever be a reminder" of the crew and passengers of United Airlines Flight 93 that fought back against the terrorists who hijacked their plane.
