Site Selection noted 1,368 corporate investment projects in Texas in 2024—more than doubling second-place Illinois and surpassing last year’s total by 114—as Texas continues its commanding economic leadership. DFW led the way with 36% of Texas' total projects.

The Dallas Regional Chamber is taking its 'Texas Two-Step' on the road, telling corporate headquarters prospects 'how business growth begins with one move to Dallas-Fort Worth.' As of mid-July, the team is tracking 115 active projects. Of those, 85 originated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hitting the road will add fuel to the fire of recent announcements and current corporate location projects, writes DRC economic development chief Mike Rosa.
