Amazon Black Business Accelerator and Boss Women Media Join Forces for Founders’ Breakfast

At the Founders' Breakfast Masterclass in Dallas, Psyche Terry, Miss USA and CEO of Urban Hydration, announced her brand's inclusion in the Amazon Black Business Accelerator. Boss Women Media's CEO, Marty McDonald, launched the expansion of her infant/toddler clothing line, Elle Olivia, on Amazon. Plus, Sarah Jakes Roberts, Lady Jade, and other influential voices offered valuable insights to empower Black women entrepreneurs.

Returning for its fifth straight year, the Black Girl Magic Summit will be held September 30-October 1 at Dallas' AT&T Performing Arts Center. Speakers will include actress-singer Keke Palmer, Pinky Cole of Slutty Vegan, and many more. A pitch competition with $100,000 in grants will be sponsored by Capital One Business.

The fourth annual Black Girl Magic Summit—presented by Dallas-based Boss Women Media and Capital One—was released as a video experience on Amazon's Prime Video Saturday. Here's a look at the winners of its pitch competition, from a Creole fusion-inspired founder to moms who actually get real about motherhood to a woman who's juicing her way to success.

Boss Women Media Founder Launches ‘Empowering’ Kids Clothing Brand

Elle Olivia is a newly launched kids clothing e-commerce brand, named in honor of McDonald's little daughter. "This brand is a way for me to encourage her and other young girls of color to reach for the stars and know that they can dream as big as they want to," McDonald says.
