The foundation's initial housing strategy centers around three pillars: partnership and policy, production, and preservation—a combination of strategies it said has proven effective in other cities. More than $4 million in early grants and investments have already been made, amid hopes that future matching grants could create "a $100 million Housing Impact Fund dedicated to lasting change."
