Eido Bio’s three co-founders are taking on menopause, research gaps, and a market where women’s health “sort of starts and stops with birth control.” The biotech startup is raising a Series A to launch clinical trials for a menopause treatment—and help shift the science toward women.

“When you ask a man about his cholesterol or blood pressure level, he'll usually know if he's in a healthy range. But if you ask about his hormone levels, he will likely have no idea,” Biote Executive Chairman Marc Beer said, referring to testosterone levels. Led by Biote GM John Denne (above), the company's new Men's Health Division aims to change that.
