And now it's doing that with a new status. Writing on LinkedIn last week, Olajide announced that Axxess' software has earned product certification from the Accredited Commission for Health Care with "zero deficiencies." Olajide noted that the zero deficiencies status "is an impressive accomplishment for organizations in the care at home industry."

Arlington-based Texas Health Resources is introducing Texas Health Care at Home, an innovative new model that brings acute-level care directly into patients' homes. Launching initially with ER patients at two Fort Worth hospitals, the program will expand to more hospitals and eligible patients over time. The home setting addresses the "social and emotional components of healing" and helps reduce readmissions into emergency departments, Texas Health says. "We're adapting to new models of care to support patients wherever they are," says a Texas Health COO.
