The new flagship boutique hotel from Dallas-based Harwood International opened Thursday—offering five culinary concepts, a nightly martini bar, a 20th-floor infinity pool, and two rooftop attractions. (Not to mention bathtubs with floor-to-ceiling skyline views.)

With a 94 "Walk Score" from a division of Redfin, the Harwood District northwest of downtown Dallas already has over 100 dining, art, shopping, and entertainment venues within a 10-minute walk. Now its new Fig & Favor market will solve "a missing component"—and give urban strollers one more reason to hoof it.

Red Bull Racing is revving things up for the Formula 1 Aramco U.S. Grand Prix in Austin on Oct. 24—by holding a "Show Run" tomorrow in downtown Dallas. The four-hour, multi-format event features four rounds of Red Bull Racing car runs on a 640-meter track, plus an exotic car parade, a UT Arlington SAE self-built car run, Moto stunt riding, and more.
