Wells Fargo To Build a 22-Acre Corporate Campus in Irving, Creating 650 New Jobs

Governor Greg Abbott confirmed today that San Francisco-based Wells Fargo will build a new corporate campus in Irving's Las Colinas development. Based around two 400,000-square-foot towers, the campus will provide a home for Wells Fargo's 3,000 local employees, while creating 650 jobs. Dallas firm KDC has been tapped as developer.

The delegation—including Texas First Lady Cecilia Abbott, Texas' secretary of state; leaders from TxEDC, the Dallas Regional Chamber, and EDCs from across North Texas; and more—will travel to London, Paris, and Frankfurt in the next few days. On Wednesday, Amazon announced findings from its 2021 U.S. Economic Impact Report, sharing a by-the-numbers look at its U.S. investments.
With its recently opened fulfillment center in Forney, Amazon now has more than 30 operations facilities across Dallas-Fort Worth—making North Texas its biggest market in the state. The company now has 37,000 direct employees in DFW alone.
