General Motors, already Arlington’s largest private employer, continues to grow its footprint in the city both as a manufacturer and a financial company.

While the General Motors Assembly Plant in Arlington has grabbed most of the headlines in recent years for its $1.4 billion expansion that added new technologies and employees to the plant, GM Financial’s $35 million expansion also will add 1,300 new jobs, the Dallas Business Journal reported....
