As World Cup Nears, Dallas-Based Topgolf Adds Some Soccer to Its Golf

Topgolf will be installing full-size soccer goals in the outfield at 63 of its U.S. venues during the World Cup this summer. Plus, Topgolf's Shot Shuffle game will get a soccer-inspired twist, transforming the game's environment into a stadium atmosphere with country flags and a soccer ball tracer.

From June 24 to July 3 at The Bomb Factory in Dallas' Deep Ellum, Wingstop's House of Flavor experience will feature the brand's sauced-and-tossed wings, live DJs, gameday World Cup watch parties, merch, free tattoos and "nonstop vibes." Harlem rapper and songwriter FERG will perform on June 24.

A flagship community initiative is designed to raise funds for children's sports, healthy public spaces, and community art with the Texan Golden Boot sculpture in the Arlington Entertainment District and the accompanying “Buy a Brick” campaign. The organizations said that they expect the Texan Golden Boot to become one of the most photographed and recognized public artworks associated with a United States World Cup Host City, "positioning North Texas as a place where sport, culture, sustainability and community investment come together."
