The 570-megawatt natural gas plant is the latest project backed by the Texas Energy Fund to add dispatchable power to the ERCOT region. The loan to Rockwall-based Rayburn Electric Cooperative is the seventh issued through the state’s In-ERCOT Generation Loan Program.

In its first phase, the hyperscale campus northwest of Waco will encompass more than 190,000 square feet, with scalable capacity to meet future demand.
