Dallas-Based Zevo Is Launching ‘World’s First’ Peer-to-Peer EV Sharing Platform

With $2 million in pre-seed funding from a single Dallas angel investor, Zevo is aiming for a Q2 launch of its EV car-sharing platform, starting out in Dallas and Austin. Hosts will be able to make their EVs available for booking on the Zevo app when they're idle or not needed. Users can then book the vehicles in real time, getting "on-demand access" to the EVs by the hour, the week, or even a month at a time. We spoke with Co-Founder and CEO Hebron Sher about Zevo's tech, its goal to be the Airbnb of EV car-sharing, and its plans to expand nationally.
