North Texas 7th-Grader Wins 2025 Scripps National Spelling Bee

This was Faizan Zaki's fourth time participating in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. He finished second in 2024 in a spell-off to Bruhat Soma. Zaki is the fifth speller in Bee history to win after coming in second place the year before.
