More than 2,400 student robotics teams from across the U.S. and over 60 countries will compete in Dallas from today through May 14 at the 18th annual VEX Robotics World Championship, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (REC Foundation).
Held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, the event brings together top teams showcasing custom-built robots in pursuit of the world title.
Organizers say the event is more than a competition. It’s positioned as a global showcase of innovation, creativity, and STEM collaboration, helping students develop hands-on technical and teamwork skills to fuel future careers.
The event unites students from elementary to university levels competing in:
- VEX IQ Robotics Competition (Elementary and Middle School)
- VEX V5 Robotics Competition (Middle and High School)
- VEX U Robotics Competition (College/University)
Teams earned spots in Dallas through state and regional contests—demonstrating creativity, ingenuity, and perseverance along the way.
