The event culminates a yearlong recognition of United Way’s century of service in improving education, income, and health across the region. Tickets are officially sold out for Saturday, but some media partners are still doing ticket giveaways, and United Way has supplied its service providers with thousands of tickets.

Announcing the gift alongside the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, Fair Park First said that Carona Plaza will serve as "the signature heartbeat" of the Fair Park campus, situated directly in front of the iconic Cotton Bowl Stadium and Leonhardt Lagoon.
