Dallas-based AT&T is the highest-ranking North Texas company on the list, placing No. 12 out of the 100 honorees. It's followed by three other Dallas-headquartered companies: Texas Instruments at No. 13; Comerica at No. 20; and CBRE Group at No. 65.
The airline said that Derek Kerr stepped down as CFO at the end of 2022 after 20 years in the role as part of a long-planned succession process. Devon May was named to succeed Kerr as CFO and assumed the role Jan. 1.
After recently losing her nonprofit's former work space, Small has found a new one in Comerica Bank's near East Grand Avenue. The VWEC will be Comerica Bank's community incubation partner at its new BusinessHQ collaborative space on East R.L. Thornton, offering six small businesses dedicated/private office space, one-on-one cultivation support, and consultations with small business capital providers, as well as exclusive access to a content creation studio.
The banking giant said that via its new SmallBizCo-Op concept, Comerica will share its assets and resources with small business customers in the region to help them achieve their goals—and get the perks usually reserved for big businesses.
"These opportunities are designed to deliver real value to our customers"—enabling them to "help strengthen their own customer relationships," said Cassandra McKinney, executive director of Comerica's Retail Bank.
