Bryson Ranch joins two other Centurion American developments in this Texas Main Street City in northeast Denton County, including Creekview and Mobberly Farms. Centurion American said it will offer a range of contemporary and classic home options in its newest announced development.
The Dallas North Tollway is being extended to Celina, north of Frisco and Prosper. That can't come soon enough for this Collin County city, which the U.S. Census Bureau just named the fastest-growing in the U.S. Behind the meteoric growth—and a dizzying list of new developments—is a plan that's guiding it all.
You may have heard them on the radio. Come June 2025, you can drink their beer, stroll their lawn, chill on their patio, and check out the stage at Ben Rogers and Jeff "Skin" Wade's Rollertown Beerworks brewery and HQ in Frisco.
Rainwater Crossing spans over 550 acres and will feature more than 1,900 homesites, along with "an impressive array of amenities." Green Brick Partners said. The development will include around 13 acres of public parkland, "miles of pedestrian trails," linear parks, and pocket parks aimed at encouraging "community connectivity and outdoor activities."
Slated to open for golf in November 2024, 1876 Country Club is being built in the Legacy Hills development of fast-growing Celina, 40 miles north of Dallas. Centurion American Development Group is the developer behind both Legacy Hills and the new club.
The planned 641-acre Rainwater Crossing development will now feature additional green space and amenity centers compared to an earlier proposal approved in 2016, according to a report by the Dallas Morning News. Around 13 acres of park land ribboned by trails will surround a pond at the project.
Rockhill Capital & Investments announced it has begun construction on The Ranch at Uptown Celina, a community that will feature more than 450 homes by Taylor Morrison and Toll Brothers just north of downtown Celina.
“People are drawn to Celina for its sense of community—and the historic downtown square is a huge part of that,” said Ryan Griffin, principal at Rockhill Capital & Investments. “Uptown Celina will be an extension of downtown, offering ‘backyard’ access via its trails."
Centurion plans to build "larger residential lots" on the ranch where J.R., Sue Ellen, and Bobby of the hit TV series "Dallas" once roamed. But it will preserve the show's landmark mansion, the company said.
“Southfork Ranch is one of the most important and beloved parcels of land in the metroplex with more than 400,000 visitors each year, and we’re proud to lead the team bringing it into its next evolution," said Centurion CEO Mehrdad Moayedi.
