North Texas Sports Foundation Launches to Create ‘Lasting Legacy’ Beyond FIFA World Cup 2026

A flagship community initiative is designed to raise funds for children's sports, healthy public spaces, and community art with the Texan Golden Boot sculpture in the Arlington Entertainment District and the accompanying “Buy a Brick” campaign. The organizations said that they expect the Texan Golden Boot to become one of the most photographed and recognized public artworks associated with a United States World Cup Host City, "positioning North Texas as a place where sport, culture, sustainability and community investment come together."

Loews Hotels To Build Its Third Hotel in Arlington’s Entertainment District

The Cordish Companies and Texas Rangers have announced the opening of Spark Arlington, a two-level, 30,000-square-foot collaborative workspace located inside Choctaw Stadium, the Rangers' former ballpark. Over 20 companies have already become members, including Lone Star Drones, the XFL, WFAA, ANKR Agency, BGD Digital Marketing, Scudder Storycraft, and the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation.
