Rangers, Cordish Cos. ‘Top Off’ One Rangers Way Apartments Near AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field

If you're a Pudge Rodriguez fan, you'll be able to rent a floor plan called The Pudge, named after one of the greatest catchers in Major League history. It's just one of 300 "world-class" luxury apartments in the heart of the Arlington Entertainment District, developed by the Texas Rangers and The Cordish Companies.

Last summer, we told you about a sports fan’s dream coming to Arlington: a 300-unit luxury apartment project located several field-goal kicks from AT&T Stadium and across from Choctaw Stadium and nearby Globe Life Field. On Monday, the Texas Rangers and The Cordish Companies marked a construction milestone with a “topping off” ceremony for One Rangers Way.

With the exterior frame now in place, the project designed by Baltimore-based Hord Coplan Macht is one step closer to its first resident move-ins slated for January 2025. Pre-leasing is “exceeding every expectation,” according to the Rangers and Cordish.

“One Rangers Way will bring an upscale residential component to the Arlington Entertainment District, which has become one of the fastest growing sports and entertainment destinations in the country,” Texas Rangers Managing Partner and Majority Owner Ray Davis said in a statement. “This project also reflects the tradition of the Rangers as many of the franchise’s legendary players are being incorporated into the branding of the building.”

One Rangers Way will offer “one of the most luxurious, resort-style apartment communities in the country,” the Cordish Companies said. A whopping 43,000 square feet of interior and exterior amenity space will include an outdoor pool with swim-up bar, a sprawling outdoor amenity deck with green spaces, a big demonstration/entertainment kitchen, coworking spaces, game lounge, zen garden, “paw spa,” business center and conference room, indoor-outdoor entertainment spaces, and more.

Floor plans named after Pudge, Fergie Jenkins, Adrian Beltré, and more

Indeed, if you’re a Pudge Rodriguez fan, you’ll be able to rent a floor plan called The Pudge, named after one of the greatest catchers in Major League history and a 2017 National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee.

Like listening to games on the radio? There’s also The Nadel, named after the Texas Rangers’ Hall of Fame radio broadcaster who’s been calling games since 1979.

And if you don’t like your head touched either, you might move your belongings into a floor plan called The Beltré after the Hall of Famer Rangers third baseman.

There’s also The Sunny, The 1972, The Express, The Gambler, and other floor plans with Easter egg nicknames any true Rangers fan should be able to figure out.

Apartment rents will start in the $1,500 ballpark and moon-shot their way all the way up to the $4,000s for penthouses with jaw-dropping corner views.

‘A world-class destination’

“From day one, we knew that a vibrant residential community needed to be a part of our plans in creating a best-in-class mixed-use destination in the Arlington Entertainment District,” Blake Cordish, principal of The Cordish Companies, said in a statement. “With One Rangers Way, we’ve created an incredibly special building that will offer the first opportunity for residents to live within steps of three iconic stadiums, as well as the National Medal of Honor Museum just across the street. Today’s milestone is another important step forward in delivering a world-class destination that will benefit the Arlington community and be a national draw for tourism for decades to come.”

One Rangers Way is the next step in a drumbeat of high-profile developments in the Arlington Entertainment District, including the launch of Texas Live! in 2018 and the recently opened Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center.

  • Recently refreshed, the ballpark's sensory room dampens distant roars and bat cracks with carpeted walls and floors and acoustic enhancements. Bean bag chairs, soothing color-changing lights, and wall-mounted fidget boards are part of the safe refuge. The ballpark also offers "sensory bags" featuring noise-canceling headphones and fidget toys. See why one in four of us could use them.
