Dallas businessman and restauranteur Phil Romano’s new concept for a bar serves much more than finger food and beverages.
As a collaboration of West Dallas Investments and The Younity Group, Romano aims to tie face-to-face networking pursuits with a 6,000-square-foot building in Trinity Groves, according to Bisnow.
The Network Bar, set to open in October, will provide a mix of technology, events, food, and beverages to members seeking to meet other Dallasites.

The Younity Group is creating an app for members to check-in and see who is at the bar. The app and entrance into the bar are exclusive to members only, who will pay between $500-$1,000 annually. A portion of member dues will be given to charity.
Although it will have four private meeting rooms, the Network Bar will be far from an office setting. Romano told BIsnow that there will be plenty of standing room, pool tables, art, and music. The Network Bar will also host lectures and seminars for members.
Romano told BIsnow to think of it as a members-only LinkedIn with a headquarters. He also said he wants to take something daunting and make it fun, efficient, and safe.
The Network Bar has already received preliminary interest from brands in licensing the Network Bar concept. Romano is open to the idea of licensing it to a hotel or other coworking concept that would scale the business to different cities, according to Bisnow.
