Pressure equalizing vaporizer cartridge
Patent No. 12133555
Inventor(s): Kyle D. Newton (Euless, TX)
Assignee(s): UNASSIGNED
Law Firm: Fish Richardson P.C. (Local + 13 other metros)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17482679 on 09/23/2021 (1139 days app to issue)
Abstract: This disclosure describes a personal vaporizer such as an electronic cigarette, electronic nicotine delivery system that includes a movable ceiling, which can be adjusted to compensate for changes in ambient barometric pressure. Personal vaporizers can provide controlled substances (e.g., nicotine, Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), Cannabidiol (CBD), etc.). In many personal vaporizers, a wick transports the substance to be atomized from a reservoir to an atomization chamber via capillary action. In condition where a sufficient differential pressure between the atomization chamber, typically at ambient pressure, and the reservoir exists, the substance can leak from the reservoir into the atomization chamber without being drawn out by airflow (e.g., the user inhaling on the mouthpiece). A movable wall within the cartridge of the personal vaporizer can be used to adjust the volume of the reservoir, and reduce differential pressure between the reservoir and the ambient pressure, minimizing or eliminating unwanted leaks due to pressure changes.

Hair extension holder
Patent No. 12133598
Inventor(s): Aissatou Thiam Gueye (Fort Worth, TX)
Assignee(s): UNASSIGNED
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 18623902 on 04/01/2024 (218 days app to issue)
Abstract: The device is a hair extension holder capable of separating and holding individual hair pieces on a display board. The display board comprises a plurality of retainers shaped in the form of a ‘’V’’ and a ‘’’’, positioned within rows of cutouts. Each V and shape traverse across each row in a staggered pattern, positioned one after another, in a VVV pattern. In this arrangement, each V and shape function as a retainer, allowing the user to bend the retainer outward and hang each hair piece on the display board. Furthermore, the unique pattern of retainers allows the user to flip the display board around and use the same retainers on the front side to hold separate hair pieces on the back side. When starting the braiding process, the user simply pulls a hair piece out of the retainer, one at a time, and begins braiding.

Apparatus utilizing venting for processing of blood to remove pathogen cells therein
Patent No. 12133948
Inventor(s): Dale B. Nixon (Dallas, TX)
Assignee(s): UNASSIGNED
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17814547 on 07/25/2022 (834 days app to issue)
Abstract: An apparatus for locating and venting pathogen cells in blood. A cassette has a plurality of thin holding chambers that are filled with blood drawn from a patient. A light source illuminates each of the holding chambers and passes light to an underlying sensor array such that the cells in the blood produce shadow images of the cells in the sensor array. A processor performs pattern recognition to identify and locate the pathogen cells by use of an image library. After the pathogen cells are located, a pump is operated to move the identified cells to a processing zone. When each identified cell reaches the processing zone, a control voltage is generated to open a valve to vent the identified pathogen cells. The pump refills the cassette holding chambers, returns the processed blood to the patient, and the procedure is repeated for a treatment time period.

Abstract: To provide more test data during the manufacture of non-volatile memories and other integrated circuits, machine learning is used to generate virtual test values. Virtual test results are interpolated for one set of tests for devices on which the test is not performed based on correlations with other sets of tests. In one example, machine learning determines a correlation study between bad block values determined at die sort and photo-limited yield (PLY) values determined inline during processing. The correlation can be applied to interpolate virtual inline PLY data for all of the memory dies, allowing for more rapid feedback on the processing parameters for manufacturing the memory dies and making the manufacturing process more efficient and accurate. In another set of embodiments, the machine learning is used to extrapolate limited metrology (e.g., critical dimension) test data to all of the memory die through interpolated virtual metrology data values.

Abstract: A method for localizing a target device (TD) by a user device (UD) includes determining whether the TD is within a range and within a field-of-view (FoV) of the UD based on a UWB channel between the TD and the UD. In response to a determination that the TD is outside the range and not within the FoV, the method includes identifying a first electronic device. The method also includes transmitting, to the first electronic device, a request for localizing the TD using an out-of-band channel. The method further includes receiving, from the first electronic device, location information of the TD on the out-of-band channel. The location information represents a candidate location of the TD in a coordinate system of the first or a second electronic device. Additionally, the method includes identifying a TD location with respect to a coordinate system of the UD based on the candidate location.

Abstract: A combined User Plane (UP) node optimizes the UP data stream handling for 4G/5G network operation as follows. The combined UP node, which includes an access data plane node, an intermediate data plane node, an anchor data plane node, and a session handling process module. If the IP addresses or the namespaces of the access data plane node, the intermediate data plane node, and the anchor data plane node are different, then the downlink and uplink packet stream handling utilizes an intermediate interface path within the combined UP node. If the IP addresses or the namespaces of the access data plane node, the intermediate data plane node, and the anchor data plane node are same, then the downlink and uplink packet stream handling does not utilize an intermediate interface path within the combined UP node, but TEID of the unutilized intermediate interface path is used in PFCP response message.
