Dallas-based Outmatch, a talent analytics platform that touts ‘the industry’s first and only Hiring Experience Stack,’ has appointed Wilson Warmack as its chief operating officer to accelerate growth and product adoption.
Warmack brings to Outmatch more than a decade of experience in operational and financial leadership for SaaS technology companies. Most recently, he was a general manager at Idera, a developer of B2B software productivity brands, in which he was responsible for scaling its DevOps Tools business.
But, throughout his career, he has acquired more than a dozen companies and restructured them to deliver growth and profitability, according to a statement.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to join such a transformative company that is making great strides in upgrading the recruitment process during a time when it’s most needed,” Warmack said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to helping Outmatch realize the full potential of the Hiring Experience Stack and scaling the company’s growth in the coming year.”
Outmatch’s Hiring Experience Stack is the result of the company consolidating all of its technology solutions under one seamless orchestration. The innovation is a combination of assessments, video interviewing, and reference checking, all with the intent to deliver a more humanized, candidate-driven hiring experience.
OutMatch’s goal is to help companies hire and develop the best employees. By putting data and insights in a company’s hands, the world’s most recognized brands—think American Airlines, Toyota, 7-Eleven—can deliver a candidate-driven, engaging recruiting experience.
It’s about matching people with purpose: the company’s talent intelligence platform makes people decisions more scalable, predictable, and personal.
Last April, the team launched a free development assessment to help executives be more effective and better identify areas where supplemental development and training is needed. Called C.R.I.S.I.S. Development, the tool gets to the heart of leading-with-a-purpose and helps both companies and leaders understand where their strengths are and where improvements can be made.
Also last year, Rubicon Technology Partners, a Colorado-based private equity firm, completed a strategic majority investment in OutMatch. Existing investor, Baltimore-based Camden Partners, remained an investment partner. The capital allowed the local HR tech firm to grow its platform organically through strategic acquisitions within the space.
By the end of 2020, Outmatch had completed several acquisitions, formed new partnerships, and launched product updates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to CTO Chris Gardner, one of the biggest challenges was acquiring three companies in the fall: LaunchPad Recruits in London, FurstPerson in Chicago, and Checkster in Mill Valley, California.
Warmack, who will report to CEO and Co-Founder Greg Moran, plans to continue propelling this period of significant growth and expansion, while facilitating widespread market acceptance of the Hiring Experience Stack.
“Outmatch is preparing for its most dynamic stage of growth yet and needs the right people at the helm to make sure we are making the right decisions to realize that,” Moran said in a statement. “I’m confident that Wilson is the most capable person to drive our momentum forward and help Outmatch reach new heights.”
