Dallas-based AI-powered software provider o9 announced that Brett Theisen has joined the company’s executive leadership team as chief revenue officer.
With more than 25 years of sales and leadership experience, Theisen will be responsible for leading o9’s global sales teams to accelerate its revenue growth and expansion in new and existing markets. The company is a provider of AI-powered software for enterprise planning and decision making.
“As o9 continues to transform enterprise planning and execution by raising the bar for intelligence, automation and speed-to-value for our world-class clients, we’re excited to welcome Brett to the team at such a momentous point in our growth journey,” co-founder and CEO Chakri Gottemukkala said in a statement. “Brett’s proven ability to scale complex sales organizations and build ecosystems that drive sustained growth is key to helping us deliver on o9’s founding promise: Enhancing enterprise planning and execution capabilities is the top value-creation driver for any organization navigating in an increasingly volatile and uncertain world.”
Theisen was previously chief revenue officer at QAD, a global software company specializing in enterprise resource planning and supply chain solutions for the manufacturing sector. Before QAD, he led a large salesforce and significantly increased revenue at NiCE, a publicly traded customer experience and contract center solutions provider.
During his time there, Theisen also led the development of NiCE’s strategic partnership program. Before that, Theisen held sales leadership roles at Mattersight, Calabrio and Nortel.
“The o9 platform is truly exceptional, demonstrating AI innovation and a clear market advantage,” Theisen said in a statement. “This role represents an unparalleled chance to be part of something transformative and to make a significant impact on large organizations that are seeking a boundary-less operating model for optimized, synchronized decision-making. I feel a strong alignment with the o9 executive vision and leadership team and am eager to contribute to the Company’s growth trajectory.”
