Smart Tech Partners: North Texas‑Based Polte and Teltech Bring Asset Tracking Solutions to IoT Marketplace

The Native American and woman-owned Teltech Group has launched a virtual IoT marketplace for Polte-powered real-time tracking solutions.

Last month, Frisco-based Teltech announced a new lease for a 200,000 square-foot industrial space in Flower Mound, where it will consolidate operations.

Polte, the Richardson-based innovator in accurate Cloud Location over Cellular (C-LoC) technology, has announced a partnership that will bring its Mobile IoT location solutions to market. And, it’s with a fellow North Texas neighbor.

The Polte location solutions will be available through Teltech Group’s new virtual IoT marketplace located at ShopTeltech.com, the company’s e-commerce portal. Teltech Group is a logistics and supply chain services and asset management company based in Frisco. Last month, the company announced it signed a lease for a newly built 200,000 square-foot industrial space in Flower Mound, where it will consolidate operations.

With the collaboration, Teltech Group will become a “Powered by Polte” distribution partner. This means that Teltech Group will be able to sell Powered by Polte end-to-end Mobile IoT location solutions bundled with the Polte IoT Cloud (PIC) asset tracking platform, according to Polte.

This will allow Teltech Group to deliver greater speed to market value for its customers.

“We look forward to growing Polte’s presence in Teltech Group’s IoT Marketplace,” Polte CEO Ed Chao said in a statement. “Teltech Group’s agility, knowledge, and market expertise position them to be a leader in offering solutions that are Powered by Polte technology.”

Polte’s multi-patented C-LoC technology revolutionizes how enterprises operate. Its patented location tech leverages existing LTE networks to offer ubiquitous and accurate geolocation, providing unprecedented, real-time visibility into all the things that matter.

By giving 4G and 5G cellular-connected devices extended battery life, costs are lowered and vendors are able to eliminate the need for GPS. It works indoors and out, essentially transforming consumer experiences and operational efficiencies.

And, it’s available worldwide, meaning that manufacturers, distributors, and sellers of goods can more effectively track and manage millions of distributed assets. Polte classifies its platform as one that “disrupts the economics of the Internet of Things,” and is ready to solve real business challenges across a wide range of industries.

“Today’s trackers are too expensive, batteries don’t last, and they’re just not reliable,” Chao previously told us. “Tomorrow’s trackers need to be super cheap, have batteries that last, and work everywhere—securely.”

Teltech Group has a similar innovative mindset: It solves challenges related to asset management, warehousing and logistics, personnel, and utilization of emerging tech.

The Native American- and woman-owned company prides itself on a diverse team of industry veterans with the expertise to “transform networks, manage assets, implement new smart technology, and provide alternative cost-effective solutions.”

For more than two decades, it has operated in the telecommunications industry managing industry clients’ equipment. That foundation has led the way for success in other industries—now, it offers end-to-end supply chain solutions and resources. Since its founding in 1999, the company has grown to 170 employees with main offices in Texas and Colorado, with additional locations nationwide.

According to Teltech Group, it has also evolved by forming strategic partnerships.

Teaming up with Polte gives enterprises an easily navigable catalog of options and a path to purchase Powered by Polte devices.

“[Polte’s] devices fill a gap by allowing Teltech Group’s customers visibility indoors and outdoors, with far greater battery life and security,” Teltech Group CEO Lisa Hanlon said in a statement. “Together, Polte and Teltech Group are taking the accessibility of this new technology a step further by enabling smoother deployment, commercial availability, purchase, and aftercare service.”
