Miami is known for its pulse-pounding club scene, where music drives the beat of every heart inside. So it makes sense that one of Miami’s fitness club brands is entering North Texas with a beat all its own.
JETSET Pilates, a modern reformer Pilates franchise, pumps curated music playlists into a 50-minute workout to create what it calls “the ultimate revitalizing experience.” The brand is now entering the Texas market—and its first location in the state will open this summer at 3241 S. Custer Road in McKinney.
Offering the sweet ‘fragrance’ of fitness
“JETSET Pilates is a one-of-a-kind experience that only JETSETters can get at our locations, from the fragrance of the studios to our specially curated music playlists,” CEO Bert Albertse said in a statement.
“Our studios create an environment of engagement and interaction to help fitness goers escape their everyday stress and get a chance to release,” he added. “We can’t wait for Texans to take part in our intense 50-minute full body workout with custom-made reformers that fuses elements of strength training, cardio, conditioning, and Pilates inspired movements all in one.”
Challenging “mind, body, and soul,” the brand’s instructors have been trained to create a personal connection with clients, ensuring everyone receives a workout that fits their personal goals, the company said. The brand’s “intricate designs, intuitive settings, and high-performance reformer equipment” aims to create a 360-degree experience “like no other.” Intimate class sizing allows for 12 to 16 reformers per class, making an efficient training session for every client, JETSET added.
Expanding out of Florida into four other U.S. states—plus Australia
Founded in 2010 and franchising since 2022, JETSET Pilates currently operates only Florida. But the company says it has over 28 studios in development, with plans to open in New York, North Carolina, Georgia, and Australia as well as in Texas.
JETSET says it has signed a multi-studio deal in the Texas market, and is “eyeing all major cities” in the state, including Houston, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio, and more.
“With this expansion, we’re seeking more potential franchise partners with an interest in the fitness space to help bring an accessible and modern Pilates experience to different communities throughout the state of Texas,” Founder Tamara Galinsky said in a statement.
