Meet the Nine Best Workplaces in North Texas, According to Inc.

North Texas is home to a number of the country’s best places to work, according to Inc. Magazine.

The publication has unveiled its annual list of America’s Best Workplaces, and nine companies from the Dallas-Fort Worth area are on the list—ranging from early-stage companies to those with workforces in the hundreds.

“Not long ago, the term ‘best workplace’ would have conjured up images of open-office designs with stocked snack fridges,” said Scott Omelianuk, Inc. editor-in-chief, in a statement. “Yet given the widespread adoption of remote work, the concept of the workplace has shifted. This year, Inc. has recognized the organizations dedicated to redefining and enriching the workplace in the face of the pandemic.”

Out of the 475 companies named on the list, 22 came from the Lone Star State, with local companies operating in spaces like telehealth, insurance technology, and financial advisory. Working with Nebraska-based human resources technology company Quantum Workplace, Inc. selected the honorees based on employee surveys that looked at management effectiveness, company culture, and employee growth, in addition to an audit of the businesses’ employee benefits.

The local Best Workplaces for 2002 are:

  • 5 (an Irving-based energy advisory firm)
  • Bestow (Dallas)
  • Embark (Dallas)
  • Idea Grove (Dallas)
  • JB Warranties Corp. (Argyle)
  • The MB Group (Plano)
  • The Power Group (Dallas)
  • The Vested Group (Plano)
  • TimelyMD (Fort Worth)
