‘Mediterranean Oasis’ Saaya Opens Near Downtown Dallas

The latest attraction from Dallas-based Milkshake Concepts, Saaya’s 5,400-square-foot interior is arrayed with plush, bespoke seating and a chic, well-appointed bar. Both are within Instagram-posing distance of an expansive open-air patio bestowed with its own softly welcoming furnishings and colorful pops of landscaping.

Saaya—the latest restaurant and nightlife destination from Dallas-based Milkshake Concepts—opens today in the Good-Latimer Entertainment District. The “Mediterranean oasis” is located in see-and-be-seen climes close to both Deep Ellum and downtown Dallas at 2511 Swiss Avenue, next door to the fashionably thronged Citizen nightclub.

Designed by Dallas’ 75 Degree Design Studio, Saaya’s 5,400-square-foot interior is arrayed with plush, bespoke seating and a chic, well-appointed bar. Both are within Instagram-posing distance of an expansive open-air patio bestowed with its own softly welcoming furnishings and colorful pops of landscaping.

Saaya will be offering live entertainment, “karaoke pods” that guests can book, and outdoor tableside hookah service, “creating the perfect destination for a lively night out or a tranquil getaway.”

“As we open Saaya, we invite our guests to indulge in an unparalleled experience that blends the exotic and the familiar,” Milkshake Concepts Co-Founding Partner Asim Sheikh said in a statement. “This new restaurant is a playful refuge from the ordinary, merging experiential hospitality and luxurious surroundings for an unforgettable time. We want our guests to come in, lose track of time, and find themselves in the ‘now’.”

Saaya’s offers a mezze menu—small, Mediterranean-style shared plates—showcasing the region’s savory flavors with items like Spicy Feta Dip, marinated Shawarma and Kebabs, and Lebanese-style pizzas, also known as Manakeesh. For lighter options, salads including a Greek and Lebanese Caesar will try to distract you from the people-watching. The restaurant will also feature what it calls the “Saaya Ultimate Feast” for those wanting a deep culinary tour of the menu.

Saaya is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Valet parking is available during all hours of operation.
