Life Time Living is bringing health and wellness home with its future launch of a holistic residential community.
With over 1.7 million members, Life Time—the healthy lifestyle company that owns Life Time Fitness gyms—plans to launch new luxury residences that focus on promoting active habits.
Prioritizing health and happiness
Bahram Akradi, Life Time’s founder, chairman, and CEO, believes that how healthy someone is and where he or she chooses to live is a critical intersection—and he aims to make it easier for the two to intertwine.
“By integrating where we live, work, and play in these Life Time [Living] developments, we’re creating far more time efficiency for members in their day-to-day lives,” Akradi said in a statement. “The design is truly a natural extension of our mission to inspire people to live completely happy, healthy lives…”
Life Time says future residents of the communities will enjoy access to premier amenities like a Life Time Athletic Resort & Spa and LifeCafe.
Most locations will also be home to Life Time Work, an activity center designed to promote wellness in living, working, and playing. In addition to the features inside the complexes, all members will have diamond-level access to the more than 140 international Life Time locations.
The Dallas location is set to open in 2022 in Midtown—an area being developed in the Valley View-Galleria area of Dallas—in cooperation with Beck Ventures. The building will contain 390 units and an additional 190,000-square-foot Life Time Athletic Club and a 50,000-square-foot Life Time Work space.
The Dallas Midtown location is slated for completion in 2022. Another location in Miami is expected in mid-2020, and a third will be completed in Las Vegas in late 2020.
