Landsea Homes Names President of DFW & Austin Divisions, and 2 New VPs

Stewart Parker has been named president of the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin divisions. Landsea also named Brandon Dickinson as VP of operations, Texas Region, and Shawn Jeffcoat as VP of construction, Texas Region.

Stewart Parker has been named president of the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin divisions of Dallas-based Landsea Homes Corp.

The company also named Brandon Dickinson as vice president of operations, Texas Region, and Shawn Jeffcoat as vice president of construction, Texas Region.

“Texas is a key market for Landsea Homes,” Mike Forsum, president and COO of Landsea Homes, said in a statement. “In the short time that Stewart has been with Landsea Homes, it’s very clear that his strategic foresight and deep, local homebuilding experience will help us grow this important portion of our portfolio for the company.”

Forsum said that Dickinson and Jeffcoat bring years of experience to the company.

“Brandon and Shawn add decades of experience in residential home building to our team,” Forsum said. “They have a proven track record of implementing strategies that increase productivity and enhance performance while managing complex projects, bringing the expertise that we need to guide our Texas teams in creating high quality and attainably priced homes for homebuyers.”

Growing homebuilders

Landsea said that Parker joined the company at the end of February, after serving as the national vice president of homebuilding operations for Homebound, a residential and commercial construction company. The company said that at Homebound, he grew homebuilding operations by ten-fold based on revenue and volume, started five new major markets across three states, and oversaw disaster relief projects in Colorado and Florida.

Parker started his career in Dallas, as a warranty manager for a major public homebuilder, and for more than 25 years has held senior management positions with national homebuilding companies.

Landsea said that Parker has been responsible for the construction of more than 50,000 homes over the course of his career and has helped homebuilders increase their footprints in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Dickinson comes to Landsea Homes after serving as the director of national purchasing for Homebound in Austin, where he oversaw nationwide procurement operations and standardized processes across markets to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency.

Before that, Dickinson directed all new community development from product design to construction rollout as the director of community planning for Toll Brothers in Austin and San Antonio. Dickinson’s career also includes leadership positions with Brookfield Residential/Grand Haven Homes in Austin, Coastal Division Legacy DCS in Rockport, Brohn Homes in Austin, and Village Builders in Austin.

Operational leadership in construction

Landsea said that Jeffcoat comes to Landsea Homes after serving as the senior director of operations for the Austin Division of Brookfield Homes.

There, Jeffcoat oversaw the construction operations for thousands of homesites, an amenity complex with pools, buildings, fitness center, golf pro shop, and restaurant, and his department teams increased operations by 65%.

Landsea said that during his career, Jeffcoat has developed and implemented customer care programs, internship programs and construction scheduling software. His career has included leadership positions with Drees Custom Homes in Dallas, Austin, and Raleigh, North Carolina, and with David Weekley Homes in Dallas.

Landsea Homes entered the Texas market in 2021 and moved its corporate headquarters to Dallas in 2023. Its Dallas-Fort Worth Division was created when Landsea Homes acquired Antares Homes last year and currently is selling homes in 24 communities in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin markets.
