Sky Zone is jumping feet-first into its Texas expansion plans, with a newly opened Frisco location featuring its “next-gen” refreshed branding and guest experience.
The 40,000-square-foot Sky Zone Frisco is the brand’s fourth trampoline park in Texas and second in the Dallas area from the Provo, Utah-based company. And more are on the way: the company says it has signed three new deals with franchisees that will open 13 new locations throughout the Lone Star State, all delivering “a high-quality, active entertainment experience” for families and guests of all ages.
Sky Slam, Boulder Balls & iWalls
The next-gen Sky Zone Frisco’s attractions include a Race Slide, Sky Slam, Zipline, iWalls, AirCourt, Boulder Balls, the largest Toddler Zone in the Sky Zone system, and more. The company says the new venue’s optimized layout “maximizes fun spaces, bright, eco-friendly lighting, extra party rooms, enhanced mezzanine seating for parents, a centralized arcade with top-tier games, and upgraded guest storage.”
The Frisco location, at 3333 Preston Road in The Centre at Preston Ridge, will create 70 to 80 new jobs in the city from management to guest services, the company said.
“We’re excited to open our first-of-its-kind location in Texas, and the Frisco park represents a significant milestone in our broader strategy for long-term growth in the state,” Sky Zone CEO Shawn Hassel said in a statement. “This location is not just another step in our expansion—it’s a reflection of our commitment to scaling Sky Zone thoughtfully and strategically. Frisco is a great fit for our high-energy brand, and this opening is just the beginning of what we plan to achieve as we continue to transform the franchise landscape and lead innovation in the active entertainment space.”
Beyond Frisco and Texas, Sky Zone has its eye on national growth. By the end of 2025, the company says it will have opened over 48 new parks, “a significant acceleration from the 8 parks opened in 2024.”
‘Free jump day’ and ribbon-cutting on April 11
On Friday, April 11, Sky Zone Frisco will host a grand opening and “free jump day,” offering 100,000 minutes of free jumps from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.. The day’s events will include a ribbon-cutting, games, contests, raffles every 30 minutes, swag bags, and prizes including an “epic birthday party,” annual passes, and VIP passes.
