Since June 2020, Dallas-based StaffDNA, a fast-growing healthcare staffing online platform, has primarily focused on temporary assignments for nursing and allied professionals. Now it’s releasing an expanded offering—with hundreds of permanent job placements across the U.S.
StaffDNA has worked to revolutionize the staffing industry with its technology. Averaging more than 20,000 downloads per month since its release, the app has served as a vital resource for healthcare workers looking to manage their own careers.
With the latest launch, the company has expanded its offering to include hundreds of permanent jobs across the country.
The self-service StaffDNA marketplace allows nurses and allied workers to have complete control of their job search. The marketplace works like this: Healthcare professionals are able to search for exclusive jobs across the country and get all the details upfront without having to register.
By downloading the app, healthcare professionals can independently find jobs and customize their pay packages by selecting desired benefits. They can also search for housing options and travel allowances, and submit their application to multiple positions.
Users also have the ability to check an application’s status, accept or decline offers, manage compliance requirements, upload their credentials, and receive reminders.
“In twelve months, we built the largest, fastest-growing app for healthcare careers,” Sheldon Arora, CEO of StaffDNA, said in a statement. “We’re now expanding our capabilities to include permanent job placements, so even more healthcare professionals can experience the benefits of the new online digital platform business model.”
The process is simple and the benefits are two-fold. “StaffDNA gives healthcare professionals the freedom to find the jobs they want, while making it easier for healthcare facilities to manage their staffing needs more efficiently than ever before,” the company says.
Ultimately, the company has been able to revamp an ineffective staffing model while simultaneously putting professionals back in control of their own careers
About Staff DNA
Founder and CEO Sheldon Arora created StaffDNA in 2013 with tech leaders and private investors. The company is built on a “new staffing model” that aims to help people find and manage jobs independently without recruiters or barriers.
Arora has more than two decades of experience in large-scale tech systems and leadership. He previously founded healthcare staffing company LiquidAgents Healthcare in 2003, and continues to serve that company as CEO as well. Arora has also been an executive at eSoft Solutions, Perot Systems, and EDS. At StaffDNA he has “built on top of the most advanced Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in the industry.”
“The staffing model has been stagnant for more than 75 years and is inherently inefficient in today’s world,” Arora says. “So we built one that is going to revolutionize the industry as we know it.”
Because StaffDNA is the first digital marketplace that completely integrates with ATS software, professionals are able to directly connect with employers and receive real-time updates and feedback.
Since its beginnings, StaffDNA’s platform has connected thousands of professionals to employers and has received an honorable mention at the 2021 Fast Company World Changing Idea Awards. As the industry keeps evolving, StaffDNA will continue to enhance its platform and marketplace model.
“StaffDNA provides healthcare professionals complete control to find the jobs they want and connect with healthcare facilities directly. The platform does the same for healthcare facilities looking for staff,” Arora says. “Hiring managers can find the candidates they want without going through agencies.”
The StaffDNA app is available to download in the Apple and Google App Stores.
