Five Iron Golf, a leader in indoor golf and social entertainment, will open its new 10,000-square-foot Fort Worth location this spring at 824 W. Daggett Avenue in the Near Southside district—just in time for the Masters.

Five Iron Golf’s Fort Worth location will be its first in Texas and will be owned and operated by father-and-son duo Jim and Austin Waterman. For more than 15 years, the Watermans have operated multiple The Good Feet Store locations across the metroplex. Headquartered in New York City and backed by North Castle Partners, Callaway Golf, and Danny Meyer’s Enlightened Hospitality Investments, Five Iron Golf operates 40 locations across 16 states and 5 countries.

“The Dallas–Fort Worth area has always been home for us, and bringing Five Iron Golf to Fort Worth gives us the opportunity to create something that goes beyond entertainment,” Austin Waterman, co-owner of Five Iron Golf Fort Worth, said in a statement. “This location is designed to be a place people can build a routine, work on their game, and still enjoy the social side of golf, whether they’re training regularly or gathering with friends.”

Five Iron features and highlights

Known for combining advanced simulator technology, professional instruction, league play, and a full-service sports bar and restaurant under one roof, Five Iron Golf said it provides “an enjoyable experience” for serious golfers and social guests alike.

As part of the launch, the venue’s first 150 Founding Members will receive exclusive introductory incentives in addition to standard membership benefits, including a complimentary Swing Evaluation, a 60-minute Callaway Tour fitting, free bag storage, a $100 account credit and an exclusive 5i Member bag tag. For a limited time, the first 150 Founding Members may secure a preferred rate of $129 per month with an annual membership or $149 per month with a month to month membership, while enjoying discounted instruction, league entry, and food and beverages. 

Five Iron Fort Worth is projected to add 40 jobs to the local economy and will feature twelve Trackman simulators with multi-angle swing-capture technology and access to more than 300 famous courses around the world. The venue will feature a full-service bar and kitchen, along with flexible indoor event spaces including a private bay, all conveniently located in the Near Southside district of Fort Worth.

Guests can book lessons with Five Iron’s roster of professional coaches, participate in seasonal leagues, and get fit through Callaway Tour Fitting. Junior Clinics for ages 6–14 will introduce young players to golf, while women’s clinics, leagues, and community-focused programming will encourage and grow access and participation at all skill levels, the company said.
