Work from Arlington creatives will be the main attraction in the city’s first Frame4Frame Festival Sept. 15-18.

The festival, which will take place at various locations throughout Arlington, is meant to highlight the “diverse creative population” in the Arlington area, according to the event’s website

Sponsored by the Arlington Cultural Tourism Council, the Arlington Film Society, and the Arlington Museum of Art, the festival will feature various types of arts, films, and music.

“It’s our way of supporting independent film and the outstanding filmmakers who come out of Arlington,” festival director James Hawthorne said. “Arlington has a vibrant film community that includes individuals recognized by their peers as award winners and industry leaders.”

By hosting this event, the city of Arlington is hoping to bring new creative individuals to the city. This will hopefully open new opportunities, and solutions within the city, while attracting a broader spectrum of diversity.
