A new venue is opening up in Dallas that takes a multicultural approach to serving entrepreneurs, startups, and freelancers in need of office space.

DFW GlobalCoWork officially is opening for business with a launch party from 6-9:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Jupiter Gardens Event Center. To register, visit Global CoWork’s Eventbrite page.

The innovative concept at 1325 Pegasus Suite St., Suite 201 in Dallas consists of a collaborative working environment where diverse entrepreneurs, startups, and freelancers can further develop their companies.

Former immigration lawyer Ann Massey Badmus launched DFW GlobalCoWork in response to her experience with the Dallas Immigrant Entrepreneur Meet-Up Group, a separate organization she founded in 2016.

The group seeks to help immigrant entrepreneurs make connections, develop business strategies, and learn about local and international business opportunities. Now a partner with the Dallas Immigrant Entrepreneur Meet-Up Group, GlobalCoWork will provide the entrepreneurs with inexpensive space to grow their companies.

The building provides two conference rooms, a shared desk space, and business mailboxes. Membership packages vary in price, and can be viewed in detail on the company’s website.

Along with free Wi-Fi and parking, GlobalCoWork hosts training and skill development events throughout the year. Every month, the company hosts a Millennial Work Happy Hour. The event presents young professionals with the opportunity to meet with leaders in their field and create lasting business connections.

Additionally, members can attend monthly Global Entrepreneurship Skills Building sessions.
