The city of Dallas has introduced a web-based system to make open records requests.
The public records request management software, GovQA, allows users to make an online profile through which they can submit and track the status of their requests for public information.
“After two years of development and refinement, we have been able to create a system that makes requesting open records as easy and simple as possible,” said Jeri Carter Lawson, city of Dallas open records project manager, in a release. “Designed with the requester in mind, it will make requests more efficient than ever before.”
