Dallas’ Trinity Hunt Partners Embraces Digital CX Services via Majority Stakes in Two Companies

“We have been working to build a platform at the intersection of technology and marketing services in this growing and highly fragmented industry for several years,” Trinity Hunt Partner George Morgan says.

Dallas-based private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners has made majority investments in two companies, Craft and Verndale, establishing a full-service digital customer experience (CX) services platform that it said will focus on cultivating exceptional customer experiences via tailored digital solutions.

“We have been working to build a platform at the intersection of technology and marketing services in this growing and highly fragmented industry for several years,” Trinity Hunt Partner George Morgan said in a statement. “We are impressed by both companies’ emphasis on culture, growth, and customer experience, making this partnership a natural fit for Trinity Hunt. We will work alongside the exceptional Craft and Verndale management teams as we continue to develop this industry-leading digital experience platform.”

Financial details of the investments were not disclosed.

Spotlight on digital transformation

Founded in 2016, Craft provides research, strategy, and design for digital products and experiences for both B2B and B2C customers, with deep expertise in digital product design and innovation. Verndale, founded in 1998, is a digital experience and technology services agency specializing in strategy, technology implementation, digital transformation, and managed services.

“Craft and Verndale share strong alignment in our client-first philosophies and collaborative cultures, built on a shared commitment to innovation and results-driven partnerships, both of which are also mirrored by Trinity Hunt’s team,” Craft Partner Jeremy Merle said in a statement. “By combining our market-leading services and expertise to deliver impactful solutions, we can bring even more powerful digital experiences to fruition.”

Verndale CEO Chis Pisapia said the partnership will have a significant impact.

“This partnership is exciting due to the deep expertise in marketing, technology, and business services, paired with the complementary service offerings Craft provides,” Pisapia said in a statement. “This partnership marks a significant milestone in shaping our future ambitions to create great outcomes for our clients and people.”

Trinity Hunt Partners said the digital experience industry should benefit from strong tailwinds driven by the increasing importance of differentiating digital touchpoints for customer acquisition and engagement. It said the platform plans to expand its capabilities through a combination of organic growth initiatives and strategic M&A.

Clearsight Advisors Inc. was the exclusive financial advisor to Verndale.

Trinity Hunt said it is actively seeking opportunities to expand its platform with like-minded partner companies in the digital experience services industry.

Trinity Hunt Partners has more than $2 billion of assets under management focused on building leading business, healthcare, and consumer services companies.
