Dallas Market Center will open up space for retailers of artisan-style products to set up shop and sell their wares.
“We serve tens of thousands of retailers across the country and they are looking for more products that are uniquely hand-crafted” Colt Daughtry, senior vice president of marketing and communications at the Dallas Market Center, told Dallas Innovates. “This is an emerging market and we want to be the leader in it.”

Located on the 12th floor, MADE, one of the newest categories in January’s Temps at Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, will seek to fill the recent demand for specialized pieces.
“We continue to see a strong demand for one-of-a-kind items,” Cindy Morris, Dallas Market Center president and CEO, told the Gourmet Retailer. “Our Temps is a highly anticipated part of Market, and we are adding, even more, value for our retailers to discover additional products their customers will love.”
The Dallas Market Center has been looking at exhibitors from across the country, but also plans on letting local brands participate in the space as well.
“We haven’t released it yet, but we have a strong list of robust retailers for that space,” Daughtry said.
Temps at Dallas Total Home & Gift Market is open Jan. 17-23. The Temps are open Jan. 18-21.
