‘Where Artificial Intelligence Meets Business’: Dallas Leads the Way With Convergence AI Conference

Trailblazing companies reshaping industries with innovative artificial intelligence strategies will be in the spotlight at Convergence AI on May 2. Hosted by the Dallas Regional Chamber, the event offers a pivotal opportunity for businesses to engage with these enterprise leaders—and gear up for an AI-driven future.

Leaders in artificial intelligence are gearing up for the region’s first conference dedicated to enterprise AI, set for May 2. Convergence AI will include speakers, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

Held at the Irving Convention Center, the day-long event will be part informational and part relationship-building.

“We believe Dallas-Fort Worth is the home to applied AI,” said Duane Dankesreiter, SVP, research and innovation at the Dallas Regional Chamber. “This is where some of the country’s largest companies are implementing AI. There’s an opportunity to learn from each other and engage with industry experts about the now, the near, and the future of this technology.”

He added: “That’s why we think it’s the right time for Convergence AI.”

Attendees will mingle with hundreds of leaders, from the C-suite to entrepreneurs. Over 50 experts are scheduled to speak throughout the day, including Venkatesh G. Rao, the North America Data and AI Lead for Accenture, Mark Austin, VP of Data Science at AT&T, and Adam Sutherland, Public Sector Lead of the Generative AI Innovation Center at Amazon.

Other speakers from companies including Citi, Siemens Digital Industries Software, and Walmart will talk about leveraging AI to keep a competitive edge, capitalizing on generative AI, and how we should plan to work in the age of intelligent machines. There will also be an exhibit hall with interactive technologies you might want to leverage in your business.

The day will be divided into panel sessions, table talks, and an end-of-day happy hour for more networking. Morning sessions will cover transformation and strategic implementation, while the afternoon will focus on becoming an AI-first company, responsible AI, and a fireside chat on how Texas is approaching AI regulation.

Dallas Innovates’ 2024 AI 75 will be announced at the event. In partnership with the DRC and Dallas AI, Dallas Innovates will release its first-ever list recognizing the most innovative people in artificial intelligence in Dallas-Fort Worth.
