Law Firm: Brooks, Cameron Huebsch, PLLC (2 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17127850 on 12/18/2020 (802 days app to issue)

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods related to command selection policy for electronic memory or storage are described. Commands to a memory controller may be prioritized based on a type of command, a timing of when one command was received relative to another command, a timing of when one command is ready to be issued to a memory device, or some combination of such factors. For instance, a memory controller may employ a first-ready, first-come, first-served (FRFCFS) policy in which certain types of commands (e.g., read commands) are prioritized over other types of commands (e.g., write commands). The policy may employ exceptions to such an FRFCFS policy based on dependencies or relationships among or between commands. An example can include inserting a command into a priority queue based on a category corresponding to respective commands, and iterating through a plurality of priority queues in order of priority to select a command to issue.

Patent No. 11593807

Inventor(s): Nia Mack (Prosper, TX), Ramkumar Korlepara (McKinney, TX)
Assignee(s): Bank of America Corporation (Charlotte, NC)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17208024 on 03/22/2021 (708 days app to issue)

Abstract: A system for verifying a user operating an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) sends an authentication media item to a user device associated with the user when the ATM receives a transaction request. The system receives, from the ATM, a first image of the authentication media item when the authentication media item is presented to the ATM. The system compares the first image of the authentication media item with a second image of the authentication media item stored in a user profile associated with the user. The system extracts a first unique code from the first image of the authentication media item, and a second unique code from the second image of the authentication media item. The system determines whether the first unique code corresponds to the second unique code. The system approves the transaction request if it is determined that the first unique code corresponds to the second unique code.

Degauss time detection in electric motors
Patent No. 11594987

Inventor(s): Ganapathi Hegde (Bangalore, , IN), Krushal Shah (Dallas, TX), Venkata Pavan Mahankali (Bangalore, , IN)
Assignee(s): Texas Instruments Incorporated (Dallas, TX)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 17514171 on 10/29/2021 (487 days app to issue)

Abstract: Example systems and processes compare sampled values of a floating phase voltage and/or outgoing phase current of an electric motor with a corresponding reference to identify a degauss time period. Post degauss time period identification, sampled values are compared with a threshold to identify a settling time period following the degauss time period. The threshold used to identify the settling time period depends on a slope of a floating phase voltage after the degauss time period, a modulation scheme being used, and a pulse width modulation ON/OFF state of the electric motor. When the threshold comparison test is not met, it is determined whether the slope of the floating phase voltage has inverted. Based on such processing, a back-electromotive force (BEMF) zero-crossing (ZC) is detected or estimated with respect to a floating phase voltage of the electric motor.

Law Firm: Fish IP Law, LLP (2 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17313942 on 05/06/2021 (663 days app to issue)

Abstract: This application proposes multi-beam antenna systems using spherical lens are proposed, with high isolation between antenna ports and compatible to 22, 44, 88 MIMO transceivers. Several compact multi-band multi-beam solutions (with wideband operation, 40%+, in each band) are achieved by creating dual-band radiators movable on the track around spherical lens and by placing of lower band radiators between spherical lenses. By using of secondary lens for high band radiators, coupling between low band and high band radiators is reduced. Beam tilt range and side lobe suppression are improved by special selection of phase shift and rotational angle of radiators. Resultantly, a wide beam tilt range (0-40 degree) is realized in proposed multi-beam antenna systems. Each beam can be individually tilted. Based on proposed single- and multi-lens antenna solutions, cell coverage improvements and stadium tribune coverage optimization are also achieved, together with interference reduction.
